Bedford Launches 2 New Product Lines

This week Bedford is introducing a new product line and product line extension to provide customers a wide array of economical hangtags, bottleneckers, and other unique printed options to create stunning on-pack promotions and engage with customers.

Lower MOQ ElastiTag®

The first new product drop is Lower MOQ ElastiTag®, which is very similar to Bedford’s patented one-piece ElastiTag but with more flexibility in order quantity. The new version will still include the signature elastomer loop, but will be applied to the tag as a “tab.” This process will occur during production, so customers will still receive a single-piece that is ready to apply.

Choose from black or white elastomer, various substrates, and dieline shapes that fit around a circumference range of 4” – 10”.

In addition to lower minimums, Lower MOQ ElastiTag also carries economical appeal. Minimums begin at just 500 pieces!

Crafted by Bedford™

Also launching today is a brand new customizable line of printed tags that are economical and could afford brands more sustainable options.

Products available in today’s initial launch of Crafted™ by Bedford include: Tag, Bag Tag, and Plant Stake.

Multiple substrate options are available to help you achieve your appearance and sustainability goals. Options include: paper stock, polypropylene, recyclable HDPE, and more.

Tag

A single-piece hangtag made of any one of our substrate options. We have several dieline shapes to choose from, or share with us the circumference of your product for a totally customized shape.

Bag Tag

A single-piece hangtag made of any one of our substrate options. We have several dieline shapes to choose from, or share with us the circumference of your product for a totally customized shape.

This one-of-a-kind closure add-on helps you brand and close your bagged products in one step. We offer a few different shapes, all designed to rest in the throat opening of our semi-automatic Mini Tyer™ Pro machine to be applied simultaneously with twist tie.

Plant Stake

Everything a plant stake needs, but with more design and shape options! Share plant care instructions and grow your brand with a solution that looks elegant next to your potted plants.

Plant Stake is:

  • Water resistant
  • Writable
  • Easily inserted into potting soil

Health

Medical Coverage
Bedford’s medical premiums are top-notch with the company contributing to a large amount of the cost. Employees and their families have two plans from which to choose.


Health Savings Account
Employees may contribute and receive employer contributions to their tax-free savings account for medical, dental, and vision expenses to use now and into the future. Annually, an employee may contribute up to $3,500 for self-only or $7,000 for family (2019 limits). Those age 55 or older may contribute an additional $1,000. The HSA is available to those who choose the high deductible health plan.


Flexible Spending Account
Both general purpose (medical/dental/vision) and dependent care accounts may be set up offering tax-free savings opportunities each year. For a general purpose account, $2,700 may be contributed annually (2019 limits). For a dependent care account, up to $5,000 may be contributed annually (2019 limits). Funds must be used annually within the flexible spending accounts.


Dental Coverage
Our plan helps to cover preventative, basic, and major services for employees and their family members.


Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability
Provided at Bedford’s expense, the company wants to ensure our employees have protection in the event a medical situation arises that prevents the employee from working.


Life Insurance
Basic coverage is offered to protect all employees and their families. Voluntary coverage including accidental death and dismemberment may also be elected by employees.


Employee Assistance Program
All employees and their families may take advantage of a free and anonymous program in which they can receive for support for a variety of situations life can bring.


On-Site Wellness Center and Wellness Reimbursement
Our new, state-of-the-art wellness center allows employees the opportunity to focus on personal fitness goals at work. In addition, employees may receive an annual reimbursement for a membership at a local wellness center.
